Previously unknown sleep pattern revealed in University of Sydney research

Don't worry if you didn't get a solid eight hours of sleep last night, new research has
revealed that sleep duration naturally fluctuates over a period of days and you should eventually catch up. The study identified a never before seen sleep pattern, where duration increases and decreases in a sine wave pattern over a stretch of up to 18 days, regardless of individual lifestyle, timing of sleep or waking and social and environmental influences.
